Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered a very loss against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Monday, while chasing a huge target of 22 runs as they feel short by just 4 runs  Earlier, Punjab Kings (PBKS) had scored 221 runs thanks to two stunning half-centuries from skipper KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda.

Both the Punjab batsmen had made merry by going after the RR bowlers, who looked clueless apart from an impressive spell by debutant Chetan Sakariya. During the chase, RR lost their openers in quick succession and even, Jos Buttler failed to stay at the crease for long.  It was left on skipper Sanju Samson to deliver and deliver he did.

However, after the game, Riyan Parag came up with a tweet saying, “Im shit (sic)“. This tweet went viral very soon and the youngster realized that he has made a mistake and it was probably not the right thing to say and therefore, he decided to delete it. 

Samson came up with a knock for the ages as he scored a century and almost single-handedly took his team over the line. He had good support from Riyan Parag is a quick-fire partnership that was looking to turn the game in RR’s favor before Arshdeep Singh‘s last over rescued it for PBKS. Riyan Parag had a good day on the field yesterday as he shone with both bat and ball.

With the ball, Parag managed to get the wicket of dangerous Chris Gayle by having him heave one to long-on where Ben Stokes took the catch. Later, with the bat, he looked to be on song as he kept on smashing sixes at will in a lively 11-ball stay where he scored 25 runs. He was, however, dismissed by Mohammed Shami who had him caught off a bouncer by the wicket-keeper.
