Team India is currently locking horns with Australia for the third and the final game of the three-match series in Sydney. The hosts are having an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series as they registered a win in the first game in Brisbane, but the second game in Melbourne was washed out due to the frequent downpour. However, on Sunday, the Australian skipper, Aaron Finch decided to bat first after winning the toss, but only managed to score 164/6 despite having a great start.

Rohit and Dhawan massacred the Australian bowlers

Coming into the chase of 165 runs in their quota of 20 overs, the Indian openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan had a decent start with a score of 20/0 after the first three overs, but what transpired in the next two overs, was nothing bit forgettable for the next two over as they amassed 42 runs in the next two overs.

On the very first ball of the third over bowled by Nathan Coulter-Nile, Sharma smashed a six on the short ball with the help of a pull shot over fine leg into the crowd. It was an incredible shot, but it was easy for Sharma. After looking at Rohit, Dhawan got charged as well, as he also smashed a six on the penultimate ball of the over. It was a slower one on a good length and Dhawan hammered a slog sweep over deep midwicket into the crowd again.

Marcus Stoinis was bowling the next over but was also welcomed with a six long on by Rohit Sharma. Stoinis bowled the second ball of the over a fraction short and Sharma read it only play a flat-batted pull shot this over long on. Similarly to the previous over, Dhawan got inspired from Rohit and he launched a huge six square leg way back into the stands on the 4th ball of the over. Stoinis against bowled a short ball on the hip and Dhawan massacred it into the crowd.
