Another rivalry which has evolved amidst South Africa and India take on each other is between India’s vice-captain, Rohit Sharma, and South Africa’s pacer, Kagiso Rabada.
During the ongoing fifth ODI between South Africa and India at Port Elizabeth, the rivalry continued as Sharma hit Rabada for a huge six over the long-on area.
On the fourth over of the sixth over, Sharma stepped out to ease some nerves against someone who has troubled him right through this tour.
Rabada, who has dismissed Sharma six times in this series, came back to hit the batsman on the box. Just on the following delivery, Sharma stepped out again to perhaps repeat the same shot.
The grass on the wicket saw the ball gaining some extra bounce and hitting him on his box.
Sharma has looked positive for whatever time he has been out there today. After a string of low scores, he, more than anyone else, would be looking to set the score straight the South Africans.
