Rohit’s post read, “Once upon a time you became mine and I became yours. And I promise we’ll stay together both through the laughter and tears. Because that’s what they call HAPPILY EVER AFTER.”

Ritika’s post read: “Happy anniversary to the boy who’s been lighting up my life for over a decade now ❤️ I honestly cannot remember my life before you walked into it. Thank you for always being there for me. Here’s to many more lifetimes of this @rohitsharma45❤️❤️❤️”.

Rohit and Ritika’s is a cute love story, which is full of romance, a long courtship period, followed by straight out of a Hollywood style marriage proposal. Before they started dating, the cute couple met as professionals. Ritika was a sports event manager and she used to take care of Rohit’s cricket engagements. But soon their professional relationship turned into something special and they became the best of friends. And as we see in movies, their friendship soon turned into love and the couple decided to officially get hooked. For all those who don’t know, Ritika is also Yuvraj Singh’s rakhi sister.

After dating each other for six years, Rohit gave the proposal to Ritika. He went down on his knees and popped the question to her at the Borivali Sports Club, Mumbai. Borivali Sports Club is the same ground where Rohit started his career at the age of 11. And as can guess, Ritika accepted the proposal.
