Babar Azam & Co received a warm reception after reaching the team hotel in Ahmedabad ahead of their much-anticipated clash against India. After winning their first two matches of the campaign in Hyderabad, the Pakistan team took a flight to Ahmedabad for the marquee clash. The men in green also cut cake on their flight which was organised by the cabin crew of the carrier.

Upon their arrival at the hotel here, Pakistan players received a warm welcome with a shower of flower petals and balloons, traditional scarves, and the sound of dhols combined with a dance performance. News18 Cricketnext reported on Thursday that Gill trained at a GCA facility for nearly an hour. Some throw-down specialists accompanied the India opener and he had a proper hit – not gentle knocking with the bat.
