In terms of form, Rohit has had a challenging series, registering scores of 24, 39, 14, and 13 in the four innings played so far. With an average of 22.50, the Indian skipper will be eager to make a significant impact in the upcoming game, especially considering the absence of Virat Kohli, which leaves the batting lineup relatively inexperienced.

Adding to India’s challenges, KL Rahul has been ruled out of the upcoming Test due to insufficient match fitness, continuing his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Devdutt Padikkal has been named as his replacement. The five-match series is currently level at 1-1, making the upcoming fixture crucial for both teams aiming to gain the lead.
