She asked Rohit to tell a message to Virat Kohli, “Tell him his biggest fan came here.” Winking with a smile, Rohit promised to pass on the heartful message to the former Indian captain that touched fans’ hearts. This time is sweet for India at the time when the team is to play a much-needed match. They then went on to lose a disappointing eight-wicket encounter in the first Test here against New Zealand after being bowled out for a miserable 46.

India struggled for the better parts of this match as Rachin Ravindra’s dream hundred helped the visitors post a commanding 402; for India, batting was sound, and led by Sarfaraz Khan’s impressive 150, after putting up 468. But New Zealand didn’t seem concerned about the task as they chased the 107 target with ease, sending the three-match series into an embarrassing 0-1 deficit for India.
