WATCH – Rohit Sharma enjoyed the gully cricket before the fourth ODI

A day before the fourth ODI between India and Windies at Brabourne Stadium (Mumbai), Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma enjoyed the gully cricket.

On Sunday afternoon, the local boy Rohit played the gully cricket with the young boys. He posted one video on his official Facebook account where he hit one long shot. The 31-year-old wrote on that post, “Gully cricket kind of Sunday”.

The right-handed Indian limited-overs opening batsman Rohit Sharma is currently running in a good batting form. In the ongoing five-match home ODI series against Windies, Rohit has already hit a century during the first game of the series at Guwahati. Chasing down 323 runs, Rohit played an unbeaten knock of 152 runs and secured a comfortable victory by 8 wickets with 47 balls remaining. In that game, he had a giant 246-run partnership for the second wicket along with the skipper Virat Kohli.

Before this series, India won the 2018 Asia Cup in UAE in last month under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. India remained unbeaten in the whole tournament and beat Bangladesh by three wickets in the thrilling final of the tournament, which was decided on the final ball of the match.

While his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan was the leading run-scorer in 2018 Asia Cup as he scored 342 runs (average 68.40), Rohit finished at the very next position after scoring 317 runs (average 105.66).

Making his international cricket debut in June 2007, Rohit has played 25 Tests, 191 ODIs and 84 T20Is for the national team (till October 28, 2018) where he has scored 1,479 runs (average 39.97), 7,229 runs (average 46.63) and 2,086 runs (average 32.59) respectively. As the off-spinner, he has also taken 11 wickets in the international cricket (2 in Test, 8 in ODI and 1 in T20I).
