Five members of the Indian team that clinched the T20 World Cup 2024, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, recently made an appearance on the popular Indian talk show, *The Great Indian Kapil Show*, hosted by renowned comedian Kapil Sharma. Joining Rohit on the show were Arshdeep Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube, making for a fun-filled cricketing episode.

One of the highlights of the episode was a hilarious mimicry segment where the cricketers had to guess famous personalities based on their teammates’ enactments. Rohit’s card featured none other than the legendary MS Dhoni. Axar Patel, tasked with helping Rohit guess the name, chose to imitate Dhoni’s iconic 2011 World Cup-winning six at Wankhede.

However, his efforts didn’t immediately click with Rohit, who humorously remarked, “Yeh toh sabhi chhakka maarte hai aesa yaar. Thode alag tareeke se kar” (Everyone hits sixes like this, try something different).

Suryakumar Yadav, ever the lively character, jumped up to take over from Axar, confident he could nail the impression. “Dikhau kya? Dikhaata hu. Turant pakad lenge” (Should I show it? He’ll immediately get it), said Suryakumar as he perfectly reenacted Dhoni’s shot.

This time, Rohit caught on instantly and guessed Dhoni’s name, much to the delight of the audience and his teammates. Rohit quipped afterward, “Arey bhai toh helicopter ghuma na” (You should’ve imitated the Helicopter Shot), leaving everyone in stitches.

In another light-hearted moment, Suryakumar humorously compared Rohit to the forgetful character “Ghajini” from the Bollywood movie of the same name, teasing the skipper for his famous absent-mindedness.

Suryakumar joked about how Rohit has repeatedly forgotten his team’s playing XI during tosses and even left behind important items like gadgets and documents while checking out of hotels during cricket tours. The episode was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a glimpse of the fun off-field dynamic between India’s cricketing stars.
