The veteran Indian opener, Rohit Sharma has been going through the form of his life as he has emerged a big positive for Team India across all the formats in the last year or so. He has a plethora of shots in his armory, but, pull is one of his signatures shot that he has mastered over the due course of his cricket career. Now, the Indian opener has also accepted the fact that he can smack pull in his sleep as well.
Rohit is arguably one of the best openers in the history of cricket. As per the stats, he is one of the best when it comes to playing the pull shot. Since 2015, he has played as many as 570 pulls. Moreover, he has managed a lot of success playing the same as he has smacked 116 sixes. It is also the most number of sixes being scored by a batsman since 2015.

Recently, Sharma interacted with his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal on Instagram in a live video session. The latter asked the Indian opener about his power of hitting a pull shot. Meanwhile, Rohit gave his answer saying, โPull shot to yaar.. neend se bhi uth ke aaunga to maar dunga.โ He also added that a player needs to be mentally strong in order to play a pull in a game.

The Indian opener had a memorable outing in New Zealand where he did an amazing job with the bat in the T20I series. But, Rohit sustained an injury in the last T2i and he was ruled out from the ODI and Test series. Moreover, he was not picked for the three-match ODI series against South Africa that got abandoned due to COVID-19 pandemic.

There were reports that Rohit will be making a comeback in competitive cricket from IPL 2020. But, BCCI suspended till April 15 and the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown for the next 21 days. So, at the moment, the players are left with nothing much but being proactive across the social media platforms.
