Rohit spectacularly launched his innings, stepping down the track to hit the very first ball he faced for a colossal six. The intensity of Rohit’s batting made it seem as though every ball bowled to him was destined to soar out of the stadium. His powerful stroke play and aggressive mindset highlighted his determination to pile on the runs for India. However, amidst this batting exhibition, Rohit faced some frustration with the officiating.

During the fourth ball of his innings, a delivery from Mehidy Hasan Miraz struck him on the pads as he attempted a pull shot. The umpire quickly raised his finger, declaring him out, which led to an immediate outburst from the captain. Confident in his stance, Rohit opted for the Decision Review System (DRS). The ball tracking showed that the impact was outside the line, resulting in the umpire overturning his decision and marking him not out.
