The Men in Blue are leaving no stone unturned in terms of preparation after what transpired in the last T20 World Cup (2021). The Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma addressed a pre-match press conference on Saturday (August 27) ahead of the encounter against Pakistan. During the media conference, a journalist from Pakistan tested Rohit Sharma with an uncomfortable question. However, skipper Rohit Sharma was quick to come up with a savage and fitting response. He was praised by social media users from India after the incident.

“Rohit, You know what happened last time when India faced Pakitan, so is it inhibiting your confidence?” asked the Pakistani Journalist “See, I have a weak memory. I do not remember the things which happened a year ago,” replied Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma failed to make a significant contribution to the team when India faced the Pakistan team, last year in the T20 World Cup (2021). He was dismissed on duck after Shaheen Shah Afridi trapped him in front of the stumps with an unplayable inswinger. The right-hander would be desperate now to play an impactful inning for the team on a big occasion.
