Rohit Sharma never fails to bring energy and entertainment wherever he goes, and his latest antics have once again left fans in splits. Known for his lighthearted personality, Rohit was recently spotted having fun with the Gujarat Titans (GT) support staff and cameraman Avtaar, creating yet another memorable moment. Mumbai Indians (MI) shared an amusing video of the incident ahead of their highly anticipated clash against GT in the ninth match of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

During a break in the practice session, Rohit, affectionately called ‘Hitman,’ decided it was time for a quick photo session. He gathered GT’s head coach Ashish Nehra, team manager Satyajit Parab, assistant coach Parthiv Patel, and Director of Cricket Vikram Solanki, insisting they pose together.

Once they did, Rohit humorously dubbed them the ‘Deadly Group’ before clicking the picture. The moment became even more special when he spoke in Marathi, adding a personal touch that delighted fans. The video quickly went viral, with one fan commenting, “Rohit’s masti mode is on,” while another remarked, “Rohit’s Marathi is so lovely!” Others simply enjoyed his unfiltered and spontaneous nature.

On the field, however, both Gujarat and Mumbai are desperate for their first win of the season. GT started their IPL 2025 campaign with a narrow 11-run loss to Punjab Kings, failing to chase down a massive target of 244 despite scoring 232. Meanwhile, MI suffered a four-wicket defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings, with CSK successfully chasing down 156 with five balls to spare.

The match against CSK also saw Rohit struggling, as he failed to open his account. While the tournament is still in its early stages, Mumbai’s bowling unit, particularly in the absence of pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, has looked underwhelming. They will be hoping to bounce back strong against Gujarat in what promises to be an electrifying encounter.
