Towards the end of the meeting, Rohit was heard commenting that the press conference was “boring.” “Bahut boring tha yaar press conference (The press conference was very boring),” he casually remarked into the microphone, drawing a chuckle from the media room.

This comment wasn’t out of character for the laid-back skipper, who is known for his relaxed and humorous demeanour in public settings. Rohit has a unique ability to turn even routine moments into memorable ones with his candid nature.

In addition to discussing the Champions Trophy squad, Rohit also touched on potential changes to team policies, including the issue of family members travelling with players. He hinted at a conversation with BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia to address this matter.
