Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has already begun eyeing India’s upcoming Test series against New Zealand, which begins on October 16 in Bengaluru. For that, he travelled to Mumbai’s Reliance Corporate Park Cricket Ground for a practice session. But that did not last too long as too many cricket fans hurried there to see their favourite cricketer.
Videos circulating on social media suggest that Rohit has begun his preparation for the crucial three-match series. However, when the Indian captain was coming out of the training camp on Wednesday, fans entered the ground seeking selfies and signing.
Though the energy was high, the crowd soon crossed all limits, and Rohit tried to bring the crowds under control by requesting them to slow up and leave the ground. Rohit Sharma had led India to a comprehensive 2-0 Test series win over Bangladesh.

With victory in the second Test ensured by a seven-wicket margin to seal whitewash, Rohit spoke on BCCI TV after the conclusion of the series, “I had planned pretty well for the final Test,” and when asked for his definition of being aggressive, he said: “Aggression is all about my actions. The kind of batting we do, field positioning, and bowling—that to me is aggression.”
