Sharma, when reminded about Duckett’s comments, retorted with humor, stating, “Yashasvi Jaiswal learning from Ben Duckett? There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn’t seen him play.” He also expressed his confusion about what ‘Bazball’ means, emphasizing that he hasn’t witnessed any wild swinging from the England players during the series.

“Yashaswi Jaiswal learning from Ben Duckett? There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn’t seen him play,” Rohit Sharma quipped, highlighting the absurdity of Duckett’s assertion and questioning the credibility of his remarks. He questioned the meaning of ‘Bazball’ and clarified that he hasn’t observed the exaggerated swinging associated with the term.

Rohit Sharma playfully remarked, “I just don’t know what Bazball means. I haven’t seen wild swinging from anyone. England has played better cricket than they were here last time. But I still don’t know what Bazball means…”

Nasser Hussain, former England captain, had earlier dismissed Duckett’s assertion, advising England batters to learn about pacing their innings from Jaiswal. Hussain emphasized that Jaiswal’s development is rooted in his upbringing, hard work, and IPL exposure, rather than being influenced by England’s batting style.
