Mumbai Indian possesses a strong Indian core with the likes of Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya. The young duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have also displayed great form in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament. The absence of Lasith Malinga and Adam Milne in the pace department is likely to hurt their prospects. However, with Mitchell McClenaghan in their ranks, they may be able to cover that aspect.
