Rohit Sharma Shares An Adorable Picture Of Samaira Watching Dinosaurs

As the Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper, Rohit Sharma, and his family have been spending time in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) quarantining before the training starts with the MI players, he and Ritika Sajdeh decided to introduce their daughter Samaira to dinosaurs. Rohit took to Instagram and shared a picture where the three of them can be seen glued to the television.

Captioning the adorable picture on Instagram, Rohit wrote: “Sammy being introduced to dinosaurs via Jurassic World, one guess whose idea this was. PS: she only watched 2 minutes of it”.

Last week, the Mumbai Indians went on to sare a picture of Rohit, Ritika, and Samaira in full PPE kits at the airport ahead of the team’s departure to the UAE ahead of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The caption of the picture read: “All set for Samaira’s second IPL.”

The Mumbai Indians skipper recently became the fourth Indian cricketer to receive the coveted Khel Ratna Award. Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli are the other cricketers to have won India’s highest sporting honor.

Sending a message after the announcement from the Sports Ministry, Rohit tweeted,”It’s been a wonderful ride and to receive such a sporting honor is a great privilege and I am very happy about it and I owe this to you all. Without your support, it wouldn’t have been possible.”

Rohit Sharma will be leading the Mumbai Indians (MI) when they take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament opener of IPL 2020 on September 19. MI has won the coveted trophy for four times (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019) which is a record of any franchise.
