Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat first, but the game also produced several memorable off-field moments. The former India captain reacted instantly and broke into a fun dance, drawing smiles from everyone around him.

The clip quickly spread across social media after being posted by one of Rohit’s fan clubs, adding to the buzz around the dead rubber. India had already taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, so the final ODI carried more value for individual performances and moments like these.

Rohit Sharma himself had a mixed series with the bat, scoring 16 in the first ODI before making a fluent 48 off 39 balls in the second match. He was also heavily involved in the field. Rohit claimed three catches at slip off Prasidh Krishna’s bowling, becoming only the fourth Indian player to be involved in the first three dismissals of an ODI innings. He joined Sourav Ganguly, Manoj Tiwary and Suresh Raina in that rare list.
