On Thursday, Indian pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Zaheer Khan started new innings of their life tying the knot on the same day. While Zaheer did a registered marriage with Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge, Bhuvneshwar tied the marital knot with childhood friend Nupur Nagar in Meerut.
Wishes erupted for both of them from all corners, especially from the team-mates, who could not attend the ceremony due to the ongoing Test series between India and Sri Lanka.
With the two pacemen being clean bowled in a day, Indian opener Rohit Sharma posted a tweet which read, “Ek din mai do shikaar fast bowlers are having good day off the field. Congrats @BhuviOfficial and Nupur. God bless!”

Zaheer and Sagarika had a court marriage on Thursday morning in presence of a few family members and friends. They also had a cocktail party at a five-star hotel in Central Mumbai later in the evening to celebrate their special occasion. They will also be hosting a grand reception at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai on Monday where all their friends from the sports world and Bollywood will be invited.
At a time when most of the Indian players are getting married, the latest to join the list is all-rounder Krunal Pandya. He is getting ready to tie the knot with his girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma, whom he has been dating for the last one and a half years.
According to a report in TOI, Krunal will tie the knot on December 27th. The function will take place at a 5-star hotel in Santa Cruz. Talking to TOI, Krunal said, “We will marry in a ceremony attended by family members and close relatives. On the same evening, a reception will be organized. I am very happy that I am marrying a girl who is more like a friend and understands me.”
