India batsman and captain of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, was spotted in anger during the second innings of Mumbai Indians’ encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Indians were put in to bat by Gautam Gambhir. After scoring 173-5 in 20 overs, the visitors had reduced to the home team to 87-5 in nine overs. On the second delivery of the 14th over, umpire S Ravi missed an edge when Ambati Rayudu appealed for a caught behind. The fact that Mitchell Johnson did not appeal as well worked in the favour of the batsman in Manish Pandey.
Replays confirmed that there was a slight nick on the edge by the ball on it’s way to the keeper. Having been at the receiving end of a wrong decision, Sharma lost his cool and enquired with the umpire.
