During the ongoing first T20I between South Africa and India at Johannesburg, Rohit Sharma started the proceedings with a couple of sixes in the first over itself.
After being put in to bat by the opposition captain in JP Duminy, the Indian batsmen did not waste much time in taking it against the opposition.
Dane Paterson, who was given the new ball by Duminy, was hit for 18 runs in the first over itself. On the second ball of the over, Sharma slashed him over third man to collect six runs. On the penultimate ball of the innings, Sharma scored another six against a short ball by pulling it over deep backward square leg.
Another boundary through the off side saw India progressing swiftly in the match.
