In the ongoing deciding third ODI between India and New Zealand at Green Park, Kanpur, Rohit Sharma has hit his 15th ODI hundred and that too in a dominating fashion. Kane Williamson, captain of New Zealand, had won the toss and put India in to bat.

Rohit Sharma, who had failed in the first couple of matches, made amends with this innings. Shikhar Dhawan getting out cheaply against Tim Southee did not affect his batting. Virat Kohli came in and the duo went on to add a 230-run partnership for the second wicket.

This was Rohit Sharma’s maiden ODI hundred against New Zealand and fifth ODI hundred of this year. Just when he was looking dangerous and set for perhaps, another double hundred, he was dismissed by Mitchell Santner. He ended up scoring 147 (138) with the help of 18 fours and two sixes.
