It is usually a tough task even for technically strong batters to smash a six while playing a stroke from the backfoot. However, the hard-hitting batter, Rovman Powell managed such heroics against Bangladesh when he lofted a ball in the air from his backfoot while facing Shakib Al Hasan and managed to hit the ball for a six with ease.
West Indies locked horns with Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series at home and they are currently a 1-0 lead in the series. After the first T20I was abandoned due to rain, the hosts managed to register a dominating victory in the second fixture. West Indies posted a total of 193/5 in the first innings handing a tough target to the opposition. Bangladesh managed to score 158/6 and lost the game by 35 runs.

Rovman Powell came out all guns blazing for the hosts as he played an unbeaten knock of 61 runs from 28 balls and one of his sixes was just brilliant. Shakib Al Hasan was bowling the 16th over of the innings and he bowled a host and outside off delivery to Powell. The batter then went on his back-foot and played a lofted shot over long-off to clear him comfortably. The six travelled for a long distance and Powell made it look very easy in spite of hitting from the backfoot.
