‘Ruk Jana Nahin’: S Sreesanth Shares A Video After Going Unsold At IPL Auction

Former India pace bowler S Sreesanth went unsold in the two-day IPL mega auction than ended on Sunday night. The Kerala cricketer entered the auction while keeping himself in the Rs 50 lakh base price category as well. However, after having gone unsold, Sreesanth has shared a 15-second clip of him singing a popular Bollywood song ‘Ruk Jaana Nahi Tu Kahin Haar Ke’ which means never give up.

However, Sreesanth faced a ban for his involvement in the spot-fixing and before that infamous incident, he had represented the franchises like Kings XI Punjab, Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. However, he was arrested on the suspicion of involving in spot-fixing in the league following which he was banned by the BCCI as well.

After the end of his ban, S Sreesanth had expressed his desire to play for India on the international stage again and he was recently added to the Kerala squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. However, Kerala will play their first match of the Ranji Trophy season on Thursday as well.

“Gods grace and lots of hard work and perseverance..thanks a lot to each and everyone of u for keeping faith in my ability..Great to be back in whites just the beginning..gonna keep giving my very best every single moment,” Sreesanth wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
