Talented young batter Ruturaj Gaikwad recently got married to Maharashtra cricketer Utkarsha Pawar in a dreamy wedding in Mahabaleshwar recently and the cricketer shared several pictures to keep the fans updated as well. On Monday, the CSK opener posted some more heartwarming pictures from his wedding ceremony on his official Instagram account as well. Notably, they were reportedly dating each other for quite some time and decided to embark on new innings recently as well.

However, Gaikwad made headlines after playing a key role in CSK’s fourth IPL title win back in 2021 as well. He won the Orange Cap with a whopping 635 runs in 16 matches and received an India call-up soon after as well. Recently, Gaikwad shared in the caption of his Instagram post that his wife, Utkarsha, had thought to dedicate the wedding ceremony to the South culture and also the people of Chennai as well. With this, she wanted to show her respect towards them for their immense support for Gaikwad in IPL as well.

“Utkarsha being part of my life and my journey right from the start knew exactly About the Important Aspects of my Life,” Gaikwad wrote on Instagram.

“She decided to dedicate the entire traditional Maharashtrian engagement to The Chennai People and the South culture Because of The importance of that city and what Chennai Super Kings Have done to my Life! However, Utkarsha is also a cricketer from Maharashtra and she has represented the state in domestic cricket as well. Meanwhile, the Indian team is currently enjoying a much-needed break and they will play in July again when they travel to the Caribbean to face West Indies in a multi-format series. The two teams will take on each other in two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is.
