Both Tendulkar and Yuvraj plied their trade for India legends in the recently concluded final of the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament. India Legends, captained by Tendulkar defeated Sri Lanka legends to clinch the title. Yusuf Pathan was adjudged player of the match for his all-around performance which helped India to win the trophy.

Sachin Tendulkar finished the tournament as the third-highest run-getter with 233 runs from seven matches. In the final, after being sent in to bat, Sachin Tendulkar and his men put on a huge total of 181 for four from their allotted 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh made the most of his good form with the bat and scored 60 runs off just 41 balls, he smashed four sixes and four boundaries.

Yusuf broke the opening stand by dismissing Dilshan and soon also got the prized scalp of Jayasuriya to bring India Legends back in the contest. Sri Lanka Legends never managed to get back in the game after that as they kept on losing wickets in the middle overs and despite a cameo from Weeraratne (38 off 15), they fell 14 runs short of the target. Dilshan, being the highest-run-scorer for leading the chart with 271 runs from eight matches, was adjudged player of the series.
