The thrilling Euro 2020 final between Italy and England successfully hooked the cricket fraternity with their thrill as it ended in a penalty shootout. And, cricketers around the world started reacting to the nail-biting finale which Italy won after Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed from the spot. Legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Kevin Pietersen, Jofra Archer, Ravichandran Ashwin, and England women cricketer Tammy Beaumont took to Twitter and wished both teams for the remarkable game.

However, England started quite well as full-back Luke Shaw helped them to have the upper hand in the second minute of the game. But Italians returned in the second half through defender Leonardo Bonucci’s 67th-minute goal which equalled the game as well.
And, then both teams failed to score any more goals and the game went into extra time and then into penalties as well, where Italy beat England by 3-2.
