Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar is back on the cricket field and he seems to delighted at the prospect of representing India once again. He will be leading the India Legends team in the Road Safety World Series tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur as the inaugural edition of the T20 tournament will be resuming after being suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sachin Tendulkar took to social media to share his excitement over returning to competitive action and representing India in the Road Safety World Series.

Tweeting about the same, Sachin wrote: “Stepping on the field for India always gives me goosebumps. Looking forward to playing for our country, and spreading awareness about road safety through the #RoadSafetyWorldSeries.” Tendulkar also shared a clip from his training session wherein he was seen sweeping and punching off the backfoot with some comfort.

Tendulkar and his team India Legends will be resuming their campaign in the Road Safety World Series against Bangladesh Legends on Friday as Road Safety World Series resumes. Sachin will lead the Indian team filled with superstar former cricketers, including Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Virender Sehwag, Pragyan Ojha, and Irfan Pathan among others.

Tendulkar returned to competitive action for the first time since 2015 when he turned up for India Legends last year. Tendulkar played a knock of 36 against West Indies Legends in Mumbai but was dismissed for a duck against Sri Lanka Legends in the 2nd game.
