Legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar was seen reminiscing his incredible shot range on social media in a video shared for celebrating National Sports Day. Tendulkar is considered to be one of the GOATs of the game with an impressive record across the formats p the game. The Indian star amassed 15,921 runs in 200 Test matches with an average of 53.78. He also scored 51 centuries in the longest format of the game.
Tendulkar’s white-ball cricket record is even more impressive as he has managed to amass as many as 18,426 runs in 463 matches with an average of 44.83 and was the first man to score a double century in the ODIs. He has 49 centuries in the ODI format, taking his total to 100 centuries.

The Indian great retired from ODI cricket in 2012 but continued to play the longest format of the game until 2013. He retired from the game after playing his 200th Test in Mumbai against West Indies calling it a day after a glittering 24-year international cricket career.
As a part of the National Sports Day celebrations, Sachin Tendulkar decided to show the fans a glimpse into his incredible shot range. Taking to Twitter, the Indian batting legend shared a video in which he can be seen showing him playing a few of his trademark shots on a tennis court. National Sports Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of the late great Major Dhyan Chand.

In the caption of the post, Sachin Tendulkar said that it was impossible for him not to play his favorite sport, Cricket, on an auspicious day and he also urged the fans to share pictures and videos of them playing their favorite ones as well.
The batting legend tweeted, “It’s #NationalSportsDay and how could I not play the sport I love and dedicated my life to. Share your pictures/videos playing your favourite sport. #SportPlayingNation”.
