Sachin Tendulkar Shares Important Message on Family amid Corona Crisis

The pandemic outbreak of coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill.  The Indian government has implemented a lockdown in the country since March 25. Amid the Coronavirus, Sachin Tendulkar spoke on the importance of taking care of parents as we fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The Indian cricketer shared a throwback photo of him spending time with his parents on Instagram for the same.

Tendulkar captioned his post with a special message regarding the same. He wrote “The unconditional love, support, and attention that our parents showered on us as we were growing up laid our foundation as individuals. In my life too, the support and guidance from my parents helped me become the person I am today.”

He added, “In these challenging times, our parents need us more than ever. It’s our responsibility to take care of them & even more so now during these tough times.”

 

Recently, Sandesh Jhingan recalled how Tendulkar’s positivity is contagious during a Facebook Live session. The footballer also shared an interesting story about his talk with ‘The Master Blaster’.

Jhingan revealed how Sachin Tendulkar, who was the co-owner of Kerala Blasters gave him a pep talk. Sachin said he won the World Cup in 2011 after six attempts and he shouldn’t lose his heart after the first attempt. His comments came after  Kerala Blasters lost to ATK in the Indian Super League (ISL) final back in 2014.

“I was so drained and upset. He came to me and calmly said ‘Sandesh, it took me 6 attempts to win the World Cup. You can’t lose your heart after losing it in the first go,” Jhingan said.

If not for coronavirus pandemic, India would’ve seen IPL happening right now.  However, the 13th edition of IPL stands suspended by the BCCI. Currently, The BCCI is now looking to reschedule it in November iff ICC’s T-20 World Cup is called off.
