Sakshi Dhoni And Virat Kohli Pens Heartwarming Message For MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni, who is celebrating his 39th birthday on Tuesday, received a plethora of birthday wishes from his fans and teammates across the world. His wife Sakshi Dhoni also shared a special message for her husband on his special day. She also went on to reveal a few changes the former India skipper has gone through in last year or so.

In her adorable post, while referring to Mahi’s grey beard she said that he has become “smarter and sweeter”. Posting a series of pictures, Dhoni’s wife revealed that its very difficult to move MS only by the “sweet wishes and gifts”.

Captioning her post, Sakshi wrote: “Marking the date you were born, another year older, greyed a bit more, become smarter and sweeter. (Literally) You are a man who will not be moved by all the sweet wishes and gifts. Let’s celebrate another year of your life by cutting a cake and blowing the candles! Happy Birthday, Husband!!”

Similarly, the India skipper, Virat Kohli also shared a collage on Instagram he wished for his predecessor’s  “good health and happiness”. Captioning the picture, Virat wrote: “Happy b’day Mahi bhai. Wish you good health and happiness always. God bless”.

On Dhoni’s birthday, a lot of his former and current teammates left no stone unturned in coming up with birthday greetings for Mahi. The players like Virender Sehwag and Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Kuldeep Yadav, and VVS Laxman were among the first to wish Dhoni on his special day.

Dhoni played his last international game in July 2019, when India suffered an unforgettable loss against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup. He was scheduled to make a comeback to competitive cricket during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
