In a video shared by Star Sports India on X (formerly Twitter), Salman was seen sporting his Tiger look and saying, “8 ka wait” (waiting for 8). This is a reference to India’s perfect record against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup, with India having won all 7 matches played so far.

Both Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue and the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team are in terrific form in the ongoing World Cup 2023. With two wins in two matches, both teams are among the top four in the 10-team marquee event.

 

Team India started their World Cup 2023 campaign with a crushing defeat over Australia. India won the first match by 6 wickets, with 52 balls remaining. Next, India defeated Afghanistan to record a second victory on the trot. Skipper Rohit Sharma broke several records with his superb knock of 131 runs off 84 balls. In the second match, the Men in Blue achieved the victory target of 273 with 15 overs to spare.
