England is locking horns with Sri Lanka in playing Sri Lanka in a 3-match T20 series. England won the first match comfortable by 8 wickets as Sam Curran and Rashid picked a couple of wickets each and Jos Buttler scored quick 63 runs off 55 balls. Sri Lanka players couldn’t start well and were under pressure from the beginning. After a loss in the first match. Sri Lanka again were put to bat first in the second T20. Sam Curran is again in the limelight as he picked one wicker and one runout.

The skills were shown by  Sam Curran got noticed by fans and were shared by England Cricket on Twitter as well. Sam Curran bowled the fourth ball of the over to Avishka. The player couldn’t read the ball and thus couldn’t time it, it stuck his upper part of the pad and then hit his bat.

The player on the other end, Gunathilaka, acknowledged Avishka to complete a single. Sam Curran was quick to notice and ran towards the batting end. He has little time to pick the ball so instead chose to kick it towards the stumps.

Curran hit was perfect as it stuck the wicket leading ti runout. It was termed by England Cricket on Twitter as ” It’s coming home! Back to the net @CurranSM”

England has now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series after winning the second T20I (DLS method). Liam Livingstone was announced as the player of the match for his knock of 29 off 26 balls. In terms of bowling, he he conceded just 10 runs in his two overs and failed to take wickets.
