Former India player Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid has a bright future ahead. The youngster has shown his ability by producing match-winning cameos.  Unlike Arjun Tendulkar, Samit Dravid didn’t get too much media attraction but he can certainly become a great cricketer. The way Rahul Dravid has trained his son has been simply stunning and the statistics give the testament to the fact as well.

Samit Dravid is the leading run-scorer in the tournament and rose to fame within a very short time. Having played five games for Mallya Aditi International School, Samit has smashed 681 runs, registering his personal best score of 211* off 144 balls against BGS National Public School so far. He beautifully constructed the innings on the back of 26 fours and a six as well.

So far, Samit has scored one fifty, one century and two double centuries at a blistering average of 227 and what really was worth praising was his ability to strike the balls in excess of 130 in the One-Day cup tournament. His runs came with a number of 101 fours and 1 six.

Besides scoring this plenty of runs for the team, Samit Dravid had a good bowling display as well in the tournament so far. He picked a total of seven wickets till now in the tournament as he registered his personal best bowling figures of 4 for 35 against Vidyashilp Academy.

Rahul Dravid used to be an important player of Indian cricket for so long and has played an important role as a coach too. Under his coaching, India U-19 team won the title in 2018. The batting legend has fans across the globe and is admired by everyone across the world and is probably one of the very few people in the world who doesn’t have any haters. It would be really interesting to see if his son Samit Dravid can do just like his father or not.
