Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza was blessed with a baby boy in October 2018. Recently, on the New Year celebration, she posted a sweet message on her official social media accounts where she also poked fun at his husband Shoaib Malik, the Pakistan cricketer.
On 1 January 2019, Sania posted a picture of her small family – she, her baby son Izhaan Mirza Malik and the sleepy Shoaib Malik. She wrote on it, “This past year I have so much to be thankful for my greatest gift Izhaan Ps- this coming year I don’t wanna sleep like a baby – just want to sleep like @realshoaibmalik.”

Recently, Sania spoke in favour of providing independence to the kids to make them confident without having any qualms.
She told to Gulf News, “In today’s age and time, it is extremely important to be independent. I am not talking about adults, but children as well. I see that in today’s kids where they are confident and have no qualms about coming and talking to me.
“I can’t remember ever doing that because I was a shy child. I want my child to be self-confident, self-sufficient and independent. While my child will be my number one priority, that does not mean I have to spend every single minute of the day with them to make them a good person or to parent them.”
In her long successful tennis career, Sania has won six Grand Slam titles – three in doubles and three in mixed-doubles. Though she has no long settled plan, the former world no.1 Women Double’s tennis player wants to restart her professional tennis career in late 2019 and also wants to feature in the Olympic 2020.
