Sanju Samson was one of the unfortunate cricketers to miss out on selection for the 2023 ODI World Cup squad. The Kerala cricketer was a part of the Indian setup as a traveling reserve during the Asia Cup 2023, but his services weren’t required in the tournament. Despite missing out on World Cup selection, Samson showed his class by sharing a picture of himself with the Indian team during a warm-up game in Thiruvananthapuram, his hometown.

Samson’s exclusion from the World Cup squad was a surprise to many, given his impressive form in recent months. He averaged 55.71 in ODIs in 2023, and he was also one of the top performers in the IPL.

However, Samson remains a vital part of the Indian team, and he is sure to play a key role in the future. He is a young and talented player with a lot of potential. He is also a team player, and he is always willing to put the team first.
