Former England wicket-keeper, Sarah Taylor, on Wednesday, February 22 announced the pregnancy of her partner Diana. The English wicket-keeper batter decided to hang her boots from international cricket back in 2019 and was considered one of the best players behind the wickets in the world during her prime years.

Recently, Sarah took to social media to announce the news of her partner’s pregnancy. She tweeted, “Being a mother has always been my partner’s dream. The journey hasn’t been an easy one but Diana has never given up. I know she will be the best mom, and I’m so happy to be a part of it. 19 weeks to go, and life will be very different.”

Sarah Taylor seems pretty excited with the news but her excitement was short-lived as her tweet was subjected to homophobic comments on the social media platform. Following the homophobic comments, Taylor decided to slam the trolls who targeted her post.

Due to homophobic comments on her partner’s pregnancy news, Sara Taylor left no stone unturned to come forward and blast the trolls who targeted her and her partner. She took to Twitter once again and reflected on the fact that people should educate themselves before passing judgment on others.

In her tweet, Sarah Taylor wrote: “Yes, I am a lesbian, and I have been for a very long time. No it’s not a choice. I am in love and happy, that’s what matters. Every family is different, both in how it operates and how it looks. Educate yourself before passing judgement. The baby will be loved and supported.”

In her following post she wrote: “We are all brought up differently with differing beliefs, and I do not pass judgement on others. I will, however, pass judgement on hate, mocking, and abuse. You do not belong here. Love who you want as long as you’re happy. Thanks to all who sent love and support. Love is love.”
