Former England player Sarah Taylor announced her partner Diana Main’s pregnancy recently on February 22. Taylor took to her social media and shared a couple of sonography images also as a photograph of Diana showing the pregnancy test. She further announced that the baby is expected after 19 weeks as well.

“Being a mother has always been my partner’s dream. The journey hasn’t been an easy one but Diana has never given up. I know she will be the best mum and I’m so happy to be a part of it. 19 weeks to go and life will be very different! So proud of you,” she captioned the post.

However, Sarah Taylor had a successful career playing for England as she won two ODI World Cups, in 2009 and 2017. She was also part of the England team which won the T20 World Cup in 2009 as well. She also represented England in 126 ODIs, smashing 4056 runs at an average of 38.26. She has seven hundred and 20 fifties in the format as well.

She also has played 90 T20I matches, having scored 2177 runs which came at an average of 29.02 with 16 fifties. Sarah got one of the best compliments of her career in 2018 when the veteran Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist called her the ‘best wicketkeeper in the world male or female’.

Sarah Taylor took 85 catches and also inflicted 51 stumpings with her swift handwork in the 126 ODIs, while she has 23 catches and 51 stumpings in 90 T20Is. But she announced her retirement to the sport in September 2019 due to anxiety issues. She had also taken an indefinite break in March 2016 due to mental health issues as well but later returned and represented England at the World Cup in 2017, where she finished as the fourth-highest run-scorer as well.
