The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been surrounded by problems again as Supreme Court gave its treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary two weeks to submit his response over threatening his college in the governing body. BCCI’s Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Santosh Rangnekar received threats of destroying career from Chaudhary.
Gopal Subramanium, Board’s lawyer, revealed the same in front of SC by an email from Rangnekar, who send this to CoA chief Vinod Rai.
Talking to reporters, Anirudh Chaudhary said this could be a fallout of his views on certain issues including financial transactions which were not palatable to the CFO.
The hearing will take place in the second week of January and asked BCCI to add their comments on the draft constitution submitted by CoA during the last hearing.
The Committee of Administrators made a constitution for BCCI while keeping all the recommendation from the Lodha panel in mind.
