The wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has recently returned the Test squad after more than 8 years during the historical one-off home Test against Afghanistan. In the warm-up game, Karthik played a crucial fiery knock of 82 off 95 balls and has almost booked his place at least for the first Test.

Apart from being a wicketkeeper, experienced Karthik can provide a strong middle-order batting option in the tough away condition.
