Bas de Leede is proving to be a game-changer for the Netherlands in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. He missed the ball completely and was trapped lbw.

Bas de Leede had earlier made an impact too as he picked up two wickets in one over in his previous spell. He bowled a scrambled seam delivery that was short of a length. Mohammad Rizwan tried to flick it and the ball went through his defenses to hit the top of the off stump. To Iftikhar Ahmed, he bowled a short-length delivery that moved away a bit. The ball caught the outside edge and the keeper took a brilliant low catch.
Bas de Leede returned with the figures of 4/62 in his quota of 9 overs. His performance was one of the main reasons why the Netherlands was able to restrict Pakistan to a total of 286.
