Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed his delight at veteran cricketer Dinesh Karthik’s review of his latest film, “Jawan,” which has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. “Jawan” was released on September 7 and quickly amassed approximately INR 287 crore in just four days.
Dinesh Karthik had shared his thoughts on the film, praising its “scale and grandeur.” Shah Rukh Khan, known for his roles in numerous hit films, including “Jawan,” responded to Karthik’s review with appreciation and humor. He expressed surprise at discovering Karthik’s passion for films, which he hadn’t seen during their time together at the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL team.
Shah Rukh Khan also sent his regards to Dipika Pallikal, Karthik’s wife, and suggested that Karthik watch the film again, jokingly stating, “Always need you as a finisher!!”

Karthik’s review on social media hailed the film’s scale and the extraordinary effort of director Atlee to showcase Shah Rukh Khan in various avatars. He particularly admired Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of the character Vikram Rathore, noting his unparalleled style and charisma.

Dinesh Karthik is in Sri Lanka, providing updates on the Asia Cup 2023 cricket tournament. The Indian national team, led by Rohit Sharma, advanced to the Super Four stage of the ACC event and is aiming for a spot in the tournament’s final.
