Shah Rukh didn’t seem pleased with KKR’s performance in Chennai. The veteran Bollywood actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Disappointing performance, to say the least. @KKRiders apologies to all the fans.”

Morgan, the KKR skipper, was also disappointed after their win as the southpaw, who scored seven runs before getting out to Rahul Chahar, rued the missed chance and iterated the importance of being ‘bold’ to close off games.

Talking about the same during the post-match presentation, Morgan said, “Yes, disappointing (to lose). Played some really good cricket for most parts of the game, we looked comfortable in the chase, but they are a strong team, came back well, and sad that it didn’t work out for us. We made a few mistakes, will need to sort it out. We put ourselves in a good position to win today, but then not to win, that’s something we need to take care of.”

In fact, after Gill and Rana, no other KKR managed to reach the double figures and that’s what cost them the game.
