Bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan, who is also the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) came up with a morale-boosting reaction after his team’s 18-run loss to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Earlier, after KKR’s loss against Mumbai Indians (MI), Shah Rukh Khan did not hold back his disappointment and had apologized to KKR fans after their ordinary performance.
However, on Wednesday, Shah Rukh pointed out the positives from the game as he applauded the efforts of Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik, and Pat Cummins despite their failed chase of 221 against CSK in Mumbai.

It was KKR’s third straight defeat as they are struggling to find consistency in IPL 2021. KKR were reduced to 31 for 5 after their top-order was blown away by Deepak Chahar. However, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik rescued the team by adding 81 runs for the 6th wicket in just 6 over before Russell (22-ball 54) was bowled around his legs by Sam Curran in the 12th over.

Just when CSK was citing a huge win, Pat Cummins came up with a brutal onslaught as he smashed 6 sixes and 4 boundaries for his 34-ball 66 not out but he ran out of partners as KKR eventually got bundled out for 202 in the 20th over. KKR will be looking to make a comeback when they take on former champions Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai on Saturday, April 24.
