Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan has been one of the best allrounders in world cricket over the years. His ability to score runs at a brisk pace coupled with his spin-bowling skills make him better than the rest of the players.

The final retention list was released by the teams for the IPL 2018 on January 4. With Shakib played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the past seasons, there are certain chances that KKR will not use their Right To Match card(RTM) on the all-rounder. This means that he has to attract interest from other franchises.

Talking about the auctions, the all-rounder said, “In fact, there is nothing to feel bad about this. My name will be in the auction. If someone will take me in the team, well, praise be to Almighty. And it is no big deal if I wouldn’t be taken at all.”

Shakib has to be at his best for getting picked for the mega event. It would not be a surprise to him if he remains unsold this season. The franchises usually go with the current form of players which means that stakes are much higher for Shakib this time around.
