Shane Warne names Aussie Great as “the most selfish cricketer”

With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. On Friday, Former Australian spinner Shane Warne took to twitter and named Steve Waugh as the  “easily the most selfish cricketer” that he has ever played with.

Just like many cricketers, Shane Warner too has been surfing social media quite a lot these days due to lockdown. While going around and surfing through twitter, The former Australian leg spinner stumbled upon a tweet. The tweet consisted of a video and was captioned as “Steve Waugh was involved in 104 run outs in his international career. His batting partner was the victim 73 times, here”s the video of those unlucky souls.”

Replying to the tweet, Warne clarified that he does not hate Waugh and also said that Waugh is one of the most selfish cricketer he has played with.

Warne wrote, “For the record AGAIN & I’ve said this 1000 times – I do not hate S Waugh at all. FYI – I picked him in my all-time best Australian team recently. Steve was easily the most selfish cricketer that I ever played with and this stat…….”

Earlier, Shane Warne included Steve Waugh in his greatest Australian XI. The leggie decided to with Allan Border as the skipper of the side in a team filled with stars.
