Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has been ruled out of Bangladesh Premier League after getting injured. This will be a huge loss for Dhaka Dynamites as he has to miss this full season.

Sydney Thunders, his Big Bash League franchise, confirmed this news and also wished for his fast recovery. Thunders believes this injury won’t force him to miss Big Bash and wants him to play for them through the edition.

Watto was playing for his local club Sutherland and injured his hamstring during the game. Now, Kieron Pollard will replace him in the Dhaka Dynamites team, confirmed by head coach Khaled Mahmud Shujon.

The ongoing season of Bangladesh Premier League will conclude on December 12 while The Big Bash will be played from 19 December to 4 February.
