Despite the delivery’s turn, Parris launched into a powerful slog, sending the ball sailing over the roof with a distance of 124 meters—a remarkable feat and one of the longest sixes seen in the tournament. Parris’s innings, which included 2 fours and 2 sixes, contributed a solid 29 runs off 29 balls.

His strike rate of 100 was instrumental in pushing the score beyond 50, providing a crucial foundation for the Knight Riders. However, his departure soon after left the team in a precarious position at 89/5. Despite the setback, the Knight Riders managed to secure victory thanks to the resolute performances of Tim David and Andre Russell.
