Mumbai Indians (MI) are all set to face the defending champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday. However, Mumbai is not a good position as they lost two of their three games. Whereas Chennai has been in great form from the beginning. The star-studded game will be important for both the sides as Mumbai will try to get back in form and Chennai will try to keep their winning momentum on.

Both the teams are full of stars alongside the star-studded coaching staff. While Chennai have Stephen Fleming and Lakshmipathy Balaji, Mumbai team is comprised of the legends like Mahela Jayawardene, Shane Bond, Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan. However, the youngsters are getting chances to interact with their idols and get some tips as well. Well, Shardul Thakur is also one of them; who has been a part of Chennai and was taking tips from Zaheer Khan.

Shardul Thakur has not been in great form so far. He didn’t get to bowl in the season opener but bowled only two overs against Delhi while conceding 19 runs. In the next game against Rajasthan Royals, he picked up two wickets but ended up conceding 42 runs. However, he is expecting that Zaheer Khan’s tips will help him to overcome the phase.

However, Shardul Thakur took to Instagram to post a picture of that meeting and captioned it “Discussing pace.”
